Net Casino Sucker Bets — Part Two

Progressive side wagers: Games such as Caribbean Stud Poker commonly offer one of these. You typically place a wager (a dollar is the normal amt.) to try to win a side jackpot that could be upwards of twenty-five thousand dollars. Although big jackpots like this are particularly alluring, they are also incredibly hard to succeed. You would have to hit a Royal Flush in order to win this bet. Also, imagine this- you wager twenty hands and make the side bet every time. That’s $20 you should have used towards the actual game bet in place of a sucker wager. Just think about what you might have been able to win at a bet with better odds employing that 20 dollars.
Individual number bets in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. Why? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just one. This shifts the overall casino advantage from two% with a single zero wheel to a huge 5percent in American. The single number wager has just a one in 38 chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red wagers as a substitute which have a much smaller house advantage.
Keno: Any version of Keno, and anyway you bet on it, the casino edge can be a whopping twenty-five percent. No, that isn’t a error. Because of the huge set of numbers you have to select, it’s not recommended to gamble on Keno very much. A couple of times for enjoyment, perhaps. But don’t spend all your cash on it or you will quickly discover yourself broke.
